Sr. Financial Analyst – Financial Analysis Manager
[Main Job Function and responsibilities]
- Leading FP&A team effectively and coach team members in a daily course of business
- Accountable and responsible for monthly financial forecast, variance analysis of actual vs budget & vs prior forecast on monthly basis, annual budget process as business partner
- Support market leadership on preparing monthly business review presentation
- Provide support to sales team to effectively manage the business and maximize profitability. Support may include strategy development, annual budget setup & ongoing review, financial administration by collaborating with marketing, business admin, and other relevant employees
- Provide in-depth analysis including potential risks and opportunities, sales performance and business direction for different business division or district
- Prepare short-term and long-term business plans and strategies with market leadership group
- Proactive participation in various ad-hoc projects regarding financial analysis with different stakeholder / divisions as appropriate
- Assess profitability of the product to facilitate management review and provide analysis, reports, and presentation material for meetings
- Responsible for monthly reports review and presentation to Internal key stakeholders
- Control and manage division OPEX and CAPEX budget and expenditure
- Perform and review other necessary financial analysis
- Improve the reporting process and provide management with transparent information to support business decisions
- Perform ad-hoc assignments as required
This position will be based in Seoul.
[Requirements]
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business administration, Finance or related discipline
- About 10 -13 years of finance experience with +5 years finance planning and analysis including business partnering
- Excellent analytical skills combined with the capability to think strategically
- Excellent ability to focus on detail and to deliver important information in different types of formats to diverse audiences
- Strong ability to present financial reviews at the senior management level
- Strong finance modeling, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Skills are prerequisite
- Excellent interpersonal skills to relate well with people at all levels and good commend on communication skills which could deliver clearly what’s happening to key stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management ability to work with leadership group while building trusting
relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
- Capable of problem analysis and solving in difficult situations and when required, within strict timescales and deadlines
- Confident individual, flexible and creative thinker with a passion to drive for results in a matrix environment
- Strong ability to be a self-starter with the ability to think independently
- Fluent in English (both verbal and written) and Good command of Korean
- AICPA or CMA certification will be an advantage
