Responsible for developing and managing a team of relationship manager in order to generate budgeted net financial revenue by assessing customer needs and developing strategies to sell wholesale banking products & services to appropriate corporate clients on a regional / industry basis. Prepares credit analysis package for proposed transactions and supervises preparation of credit appraisals to ensure timely approvals and deal delivery by providing guidance and training to ARM. Roles & Responsibilities ▪ Establishing and carrying out strategies based on client analysis
- Reviews clients’ activities as well as their industry trend, and reports issues if necessary - Monitors client group’s credit exposure and manages business portfolio - Makes track with customers by recording call reports and updating pipelines - Plays a role as communication window between SMBC and customer group including overseas. ▪ Deal origination - Visits clients with related parties and gathers information to grasp their needs and offers the appropriate proposals - Conducts marketing activities such as provision of pitch book, banking product proposal and arranges client calls - Cooperates and communicates with related product teams and parties including Head office and overseas branches - Promotes overseas & cross-regional business to maximize relationship and revenue under client group - Proactively understands all internal procedure & policies, external regulation and necessary documentation - Manages all internal and external process for deal execution ▪ Transaction Execution and Management - Controls all necessary credit management including due diligence, credit application, documentation, credit monitoring, and portfolio risk reviews by coordinating with ARM - Communicates and reports to relevant departments for execution and management
