JOB TITLE: Material Planner(자재관리) - Vehicle Group
WORK LOCATION: 경기도 평택
[PRIMARY FUNCTION]
- Plan timely purchase of the raw materials and manage inventory level to optimize service levels and minimize working capital.
[ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS]
A. Plan and issue delivery order of direct/indirect material to each supplier timely not to disturb the line production but to keep inventory DOH under the control limit.
B. Track and measure the supplier’s key performance including delivery performance and feedback the result to supplier and request corrective actions in case improvement is required.
C. Supervise the material control by storekeeper and guarantee the perpetual data input and recording of inventory transaction into MRP system.
D. Actively attend MPS/SIOP and responsible for reporting the inventory level and coordinating and communicating with each concerned party to keep optimum level of inventory under the control limit.
F. Participate in MRB, decide and follow up with material disposition of non-conformance and/or suspicious products.
G. Take the month end closing timely and accurately and report the outcome through the key performance measure.
H. DOH analysis for ABC classified inventory at least once a month and conduct cause analysis and corrective action activity for the inventory DOH higher than control limit.
I. Report and get approval for the disposition of excessive/obsolescent items periodically following the corporate financial policy including I-3 Inventory-Allowance for shrinkage & obsolescence.
J. Receive and approve the sample request from internal users and request Finance to take inventory transaction of unplanned receipt/release periodically.
K. Maintain Item Master in MRP system and keep it updated to current.
[SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE]
ㅇ Education/Experience
- This position requires a Bachelor degree and at least 3 years of supply chain experience.
ㅇ Preferred Knowledge & Training
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills necessary to converse with diverse group of stakeholders including senior management, operations and Supply Chain Management personnel.
- Knowledge of MRP, Material Control, Logistics and Automotive industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Preferred CPIM Certification
- Preferred QAD or Oracle user
