Job summary
Responsible for assisting a relationship manager in marketing and execution of wholesale banking products as a competent member of the corporate banking group.
Assists a RM in reviewing and analyzing accounts. Helps identify new account relationships. Does the groundwork/ research for projects under guidance. Assists in credit application preparation and checks required documents for respective transactions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist RMs to build new relationship and to maintain relationship with existing customers
- Prepares marketing materials for business promotion purposes and internal reporting
- Solicits new prospective corporate customers and cross-sell of bank’s products & services
- Prepares and maintains portfolio of Bank’s existing corporation accounts under the direction of RM
Responds to the client’s inquiries and coordinates with various parties to ensure resolution in a timely manner under the direction of RM
- Communicates with overseas branches and related parties to manage client group relationship in overseas
Manage Risks in direction of RM
- Monitors & analyzes client performance and conducts credit application
- Conducts financial monitoring to identify and controls any potential risk
- Performs customer due diligence in line with internal compliance regulations (KYC, CDD)
- Manages the existing loan portfolio to ensure establishment of appropriate account plans, recommend credit
Support deal execution
- Supports RM and overseas branches in documentation and communicates both with client and related group
- Liaises with middle office, operation, and overseas branches
Product knowledge improvement
- Studies banking products to support RM efficiently
- Proactively understands and follows internal procedure & policies, external regulation and necessary documentation
Budgeting & Planning in direction of RM
- Supports RM to set goal and strategies under client group for each fiscal year
- Controls client group exposure and O/S balance in line with internal regulation
- Monitors profit level and reports to RM
Education / Experience / Official Qualification
Minimum Educational Background : Degree
Preferable Major :Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance etc. is preferred but not compulsory
Minimum Years of Job Experience : 0~6+ years of relevant experience
Preferable Job Experience : Experience in Corporate Banking
Required Language Skills : Fluent in Japanese
